On the verge of 15k

by stuicide on Mar.24, 2009, under Snippet

So, I’ve been watching my Flickr account all day long… I’m so close…

I don’t know why, but 15,000 overall Flickr views seems like a nice round number to celebrate. I’m right on the edge. The goal is to get to 20k, in a month. So basically the end of April. The best way for me to get more views? Add more pictures.

Wish me luck!

There are two types of people in this world…

by stuicide on Mar.03, 2009, under Self Reflections, Snippet

Optomists and Pessimists. Which one are you?

One thing I’ve noticed is that when something bad happens in the day, does it ruin the whole day or is it just a minor setback in the grand scheme of things?

I’ve known people that have had their entire day ruined because someone said something rude when they got to work. One comment ruined their entire morning, which made lunch suck, which made the afternoon miserable, which made all of their friends miserable after work.

I’ve known people that have been in car wrecks in the morning, manage to get to work and forget about it until it’s time to go home, but even then, it’s just another task, it’s not the end of the world. In order to be an optomist, you have to have a sort of amnesia and forget about the bad things after they happen. Rarely do they require any attention and fixating on them only makes them worse.

The day has just begun. The choice is up to you, are you going to have a good one or a bad one?

Can someone please buy me a beardhead?

by stuicide on Feb.23, 2009, under Snippet

Check that out. I know, it’s amazing. Stay warm while snowboarding, and also look fashionable. I want one. If anyone has some goodness left in their heart, think of me and how I can’t actually grow a mustache. This would helpe me accomplish life goals.

Buy me one from here.

Photography Brainstorming…

by stuicide on Feb.03, 2009, under Snippet

One of the hardest things for me to do is to continually think of new and exciting things to shoot. I haven’t yet trained my mind to be creative all of the time.

Something about going to the gym and being active tonight helped my mind stay active. I have a few new ideas and I can’t wait to flesh them out some more and be able to shoot them.

Here’s to more ideas and expanding my horizons as a photographer.

Updated my Theme

by stuicide on Dec.15, 2008, under Snippet

So, as with all of my absences from regularly posting on the blog, I have updated the theme and will use it as motivation for a rebirth of this place.
Since I have changed themes, a few things are messing up and not formatting very well. Give me a few days to work out all of the bumps along the way and I’m sure this blog will be looking great in a few days.

Blow your mind

by stuicide on Aug.17, 2008, under Snippet

If you aren’t afraid of getting your mind blown then follow these simple instructions.

1) Go to McDonald’s for breakfast.

2) Order the perfect goodness

3) Drink a Pepsi to wash it down

Yeah, that just happened. I just suggested Pepsi over Coke for McD’s. Try it, your world will be flipped upside down.

GFAIL

by stuicide on Aug.11, 2008, under Snippet

I just wanted to document my term that was coined today.

GFAIL, courtesy of Google’s Gmail that has been done a bit this afternoon. Of course, this being the first time in years that Google has failed me, I’m willing to make fun and hold on until it’s over.

But, from now on, when you heard GFAIL, it was me that started the revolution!

Jersey Girl

by stuicide on Jun.28, 2008, under Snippet

Sure I only caught the last hour of it, but it’s not so bad. I wonder why it did so bad? I enjoyed it, Liv Tyler rocks, George Carlin has a good role, Ben Affleck is a decent lead, the little girl steals the spotlight, I saw a Matt Damon and Jason Lee cameo, there was a smidgen of Jason Biggs and the best part is that Jennifer Lopez dies at the beginning of the movie.

P.S. The Will Smith cameo was superb and was a great scene for both characters, i would have loved for there to be a follow up scene to see if Will chose to use Arthur as his representation. Or if Will had asked Ben to be his publicist personally.
